Agadir's city beach is wide, busy and shared with quad bikes. The riding is better a little way up the coast — our stable sits at Banana Beach in Aourir, on the N1 between Tamraght and Taghazout.
Beach, cliff and argan countryside
From the stable you can reach three kinds of ground in the same ride. There is the open Atlantic beach, where the sand near the waterline is firm enough to canter. There are the cliff paths above the surf breaks, which is where most of the photographs happen. And behind the shore there is the argan and eucalyptus countryside, quieter and greener than people expect from this part of Morocco.
Who these rides suit
Complete beginners do fine here — the ground is flat, the horses know the route, and a guide walks beside you until you are comfortable. Experienced riders should say so when booking, so we match you to a horse with more energy and give you the stretch of beach where you can open up. Children ride too; the one-hour beach ride is usually the right length for younger ones.
Coming from Agadir, Taghazout or Tamraght
From central Agadir and the hotel strip you are about 20 minutes north on the N1. From Taghazout you are roughly 10 minutes south, and Tamraght is closer still. Hotel pick-up can be arranged from all of these as a paid add-on — tell us where you are staying when you book and we will quote the zone rate.

Most visitors searching for Agadir camel and horse riding are trying to work out whether to pick one or fit both into a short holiday. Because our camels and horses share a stable, you do not have to choose.
How a camel ride differs from a horse ride
A camel ride is slower and calmer. There is one rider per camel and a guide leads on foot at walking pace, which is why it works for young children and for anyone who would rather look at the view than steer. A horse ride asks more of you and gives more back — you control the pace, and on the beach you can move.
Put simply: the camel is the photograph and the experience; the horse is the ride. Many guests book a camel ride for the family and a horse ride for themselves, often on different evenings.
Where the camel rides go
The beach camel rides follow the shoreline between Aourir and Taghazout, usually timed for late afternoon so you finish near sunset. The barbecue evening is different — that one takes place in Agadir itself and ends with a Moroccan grill rather than back at the stable.
Riding both on one trip
If you want both, the simplest plan is a horse ride in the morning when the beach is empty and cool, and a camel ride in the evening for the light. Message us and we will set the two times around your day.

What makes it good riding country: firm sand at low tide, cliff paths with a view of the whole bay, and argan forest immediately inland — so a single ride can cover beach, headland and countryside without repeating itself. The Souss-Massa region south of Agadir is flatter and greener; this northern stretch is the dramatic one.

A horse-and-camel session, an hour of each, is €50. Camel rides start at €25 (250 DH) for an hour. Hotel pick-up is a paid add-on and is quoted by zone when you book — except on the camel ride with barbecue, which includes pick-up from Agadir hotels.
